CHAIR’S MESSAGE
The 2025 Tandem Special Forum, in conjunction with the 8th Silicon Heterojunction International Workshop (SHJ Workshop) and the inaugural Perovskite-Silicon Tandem (PST) Workshop, will highlight tandem technology as a next-generation core for high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies. Tandem solar cells are recognized as one of the most promising frontiers in PV research, attracting global attention due to their potential to surpass the efficiency limits of single-junction devices. SHJ technology is also gaining significant attention for its superior efficiency and strong market potential compared to conventional crystalline silicon solar cells. As global industries and policymakers pursue pathways toward carbon neutrality, the strategic importance of SHJ in both commercial and long-term PV innovation is expected to expand. By bringing together world-leading experts, this joint forum aims to strengthen global collaboration, foster collective progress, and provide valuable opportunities to exchange insights on the latest scientific advances, policy frameworks, and future industry prospects. .
